GSVO provides training sessions for new officials every Fall and Spring. 

New officials are required to attend training. 

Transfer officials should contact GSVO to inquire if training requirements may be waived.

The GSVO training covers:

• Rules
• Officiating mechanics and signaling
• On-court practice sessions
• Scenario review
• Judgment issues
