Greetings interested official! Volleyball officiating is a fun activity - it is our hope that you'll find it a rewarding experience, as it is for many of our officials today. GSVO is always looking for interested officials to join. If you are interested in officiating junior high, high school, or recreational matches in the greater Seattle area, contact GSVO today. For general information about officiating for GSVO, please see our FAQ page. New OfficialsIf you are a new official, please visit our Training page for information about GSVO's training program for new officials. You will be required to take this course, and to submit to a background check by the Washington State Patrol before you can officiate. You will also need to complete the Officials Information Form and submit it to the Assignor when becoming a new official. Transferring OfficialsIf you are a WOA official transferring from another board, GSVO requires a transfer form from your board's assigning secretary. If you are a high school official transferring from out of state, GSVO requires a letter from your board's assigning secretary informing us of your rating. If you are a PAVO official transferring from another board, your PAVO rating will transfer to GSVO. If you are a USA Volleyball rated official wishing to earn reciprocity through PAVO, please contact your local region's office about earning a PAVO rating. |
