Volleyball officiating is a fun activity - it is our hope that you'll find it a rewarding experience, as it is for many of our officials today.

New Officials

 If you are a new official, please visit our Training page for information about GSVO's training program for new officials. You will be required to take this course, and to submit to a background check by the Washington State Patrol before you can officiate.

You will also need to complete the Officials Information Form and submit it to the Assignor when becoming a new official.

Transferring Officials

If you are a WOA official transferring from another board, GSVO requires a transfer form from your board's assigning secretary.

If you are a high school official transferring from out of state, GSVO requires a letter from your board's assigning secretary informing us of your rating.

If you are a PAVO official transferring from another board, your PAVO rating will transfer to GSVO.

If you are a USA Volleyball rated official wishing to earn reciprocity through PAVO, please contact your local region's office about earning a PAVO rating.
