Assignments

Assignments are listed on the Assign by Web site. Officials will note their availability and will be assigned matches by logging in Assign by Web to accept or turn back assignments.

If you cannot officiate a match you have accepted, you are responsible for finding a qualified replacement and contacting the Assignor.

Insurance

In the event of an injury to an official during an assigned match, you must notify the Executive Board by e-mailing assignor@gsvo.org. More information can be found for WIAA matches at http://woaofficial.web123.discountasp.net/pages/insurance.aspx

Uniforms

The required GSVO uniform for all assigned matches is outlined in the Official's Handbook, and includes:

Shirt: White referee polo shirt with "Certified Volleyball Official" stiched on the sleeve
Pants: Navy slacks (no jeans or sweats), preferably non-cotton
Shoes: White leather shoes and white socks. Shoes must be entirely white (no colored logos or designs).
Sweater: For cold facilities a white v-neck pullover sweater, again with "Certified Volleyball Official" stitched on the sleeve, worn over the referee shirt is acceptable.
